"The BossHoss now release their first single from the album, a remake of the punk classic "Ça Plane Pour Moi" recorded with the song's original artist, Plastic Bertrand. Forever cool: generations of clubbers have partied to "Ça Plane Pour Moi" and although there have been many cover versions of the song, the fact that there has never been a remake together with Plastic Bertrand before comes as a great honour to The BossHoss"
Gary Shandling and Tea Leoni in Hollywood A.D., from Season 7. I know it's not a very good Tea, but you canjust use your imagination. Gary turned out ok, no?
A little sad more of you didn't participate, but I guess it may be a busy time for some of you, what with jobs and all. It's not too late to hop on board.
lucylou started an X-Files Drawing-A-Week-Till-The-Movie thingy that you should all do. Do it. Now. Ceruuuuuulean.Ceruuuuuuuuuuuuuulean. I was so excited that I already did two.
From her original post, here's the proposed schedule:

I might draw two for this entry) Week 2 (of June 1): My (or your) favorite one-episode character Week 3 (of June 8): Deep Throat and/or X Week 4 (of June 15): Krycek, Fowley and Spender (or just one of these office cronies) Week 5 (of June 22): Doggett and Reyes Week 6 (of June 29): The Cigarette Smoking Man Week 7 (of July 6): The Lone Gunmen Week 8 (of July 13): A.D. Hey! Guess what movie didn't suck? Seriously, I thought it was a really fun movie and feel bad that its getting so much bad ink. Though I can see how the experience can be nauseating for some. There are a lot of bright colors and sharp movement involved. And it does run a little long. But on the drive home I had to fight the urge to run people off the road, or use my jump jacks (read: hand brake)..
I watched Iron Man at 12:01, and ended up staying up till now doing this. Aren't you guys excited about Con coming up? Yay Con! Ok time to try to sleep. (Also isn't it weird that Ra's wears that shirt and tie? )
This opens up several potentially unexplored avenues regarding dinosaur extinction. Maybe it was all gang warfare. Or maybe leather jackets, although super cool, were impractical on your average pterodactyl.
So it looks like I am still unemployed, though I managed to pick up a Texas Penny, doing some manual labor. Maybe there's something to all that waiting around the front of the Home Depot and/or U-Haul. In other news, aren't you all excited about Iron Man? Doesn't it look fun, and way cooler than Hulk? (The answer is Yes.)
I went to go see "Horton Hears a Who!" today. It was surprisingly entertaining, and by far my favorite of the contemporary Dr. Seuss movies. There's this one character, Katie, which is equivalent to Ralph from The Simpsons. And any movie with a Ralph equivalent automatically gets special consideration...
Well, significant progress was made on organizing surfaces on both the desk and the clothes drawers, plus the bookshelf. So I'm going to count it as a victory. As for Knight Rider, well, I can't say that I enjoyed it as much as i would have enjoyed seeing an old ep, but I was glad they at least used some of the original theme song (cough transformers cough). And a cameo from the Hoff didn't hurt, neither. Val Kilmer's voice, I felt, was too flat in the movie, but in the Ford commercials with KITT he/it sounded a lot better and I think it's just a matter of growing into the role. I hope they hire a better sound mixer, and someone that can make the car chases/encounters more exciting (see Deathproof) since that's really the heart of the show, and the ones tonight were a bit of a yawn-fest. Oh also, I hope they hire writers. I'll still watch the show, but man, do they need some story. They should watch an ep of Burn Notice, or better still, and ep of Knight Rider... Work tomorrow. Ick.
